- 1.2kg boneless beef brisket
- 1 tbsp chipotle in adobo sauce
- 3 tsp oregano, dried
- 3 cloves garlic, bruised
- 2½ tsp cumin, ground
- 1½ tbsp red wine vinegar
Preheat the oven to 160°C.
Put the beef in a baking dish.
Put the chipotle, oregano, garlic, cumin and red wine vinegar together in a small bowl and add a splash of water.
Rub the contents of the bowl all over the beef, then cover the baking dish with foil or a tight lid and bake for 4 hours (or until the meat is very tender).
Remove the baking dish from the oven and leave it to stand for 30 minutes (or until it’s cool enough to handle).
Shred the brisket and enjoy.
